Spanish Vocab

At Begin Spanish Now you can find great ways to learn Spanish vocab, from every color of the rainbow, to all parts of the body, even Spanish medical vocabulary. All you need is to start with some basic Spanish words.

The good news is that the Spanish Vocab is almost half the size than that of the English. I know for a fact because my English dictionary is probably about twice the size of my Spanish dictionary. And thankfully that means we have way less words to learn... phew!

Now that you know that, I bet you feel a great sense of relief.

Some more good news!

In order to communicate reasonably well in Spanish you really only need to know about 1,000 words.  If you learn words such as:

• body parts in Spanish
• colors in Spanish
• clothing in Spanish
• fruit in Spanish
• numbers in Spanish

you will be on your way in no time.

oh almost forgot to mention, you will also need to learn months in Spanish, seasons in Spanish, and for those of you in the medical field or just interested in Spanish medical vocabulary, there is that too.

But don't be intimidated, it is easier and a lot less intimidating that it sounds.

Spanish is quite similar French or Italian.  If you already speak those languages, this will be easy for you. If you don't, then learning the Spanish language will just open up doors for you to learn more languages.

You should be able to learn some basic Spanish words quite quickly, and be able to master some conversational Spanish soon.  But first and foremost, you need to learn Spanish pronunciation, without that it could sound like you are speaking a different language. I'm sure your goal is to learn all Spanish words, but slow down, one step at a time, let's just get started with the basics.
