Counting in any language is always an important way to begin. Even if you are just travelling to a country on a short vacation and would like to be able to barter, or you need to ask how far something is, knowing the numbers can be extremely helpful. plus, it makes you look good just for trying.

Let's get started with the most important numbers in Spanish, numbers 1-21. These numbers demonstrate many of the Spanish sounds that you will learn in Spanish pronunciation, so it's a great way to start.
These numbers lay a great foundation for you to easily learn the rest of the Spanish numbers.

The numbers in Spanish 11-15 are a little trickier as they tend to have their own rules. Meaning, you just need to memorize these 5 numbers as they don't really follow a pattern as other numbers do. You will start to see this as you progress through all of the Spanish numbers.
